Gossip, humour and candour – the Netflix India production Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives has it all. Starring Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh, season 2 premiered earlier this month and has been reportedly renewed for season 3. In a special episode, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda also appeared for conversation. As it turns out, it was producer Karan Johar who suggested Gauri to be on the show.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Gauri Khan said, “When Karan said, ‘Would you want to be a part of the show, it will be a lot of fun. I am going to be there and ask you many questions. It’s just going to be one evening with your friends again’, I thought it would be a good idea. It will be nice to catch up with everybody on a reality show which of course is not my cup of tea. I don’t know if I have been as good as these girls have been. But I enjoyed being on the show, and it was fun.”
Gauri Khan will now be seen in the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan 7 episode with two of the stars from Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives – Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey. The episode will air at midnight on September 22.
Meanwhile, Gauri Khan will turn host with an all-new show titled Dream Homes. The show will air in six episodes where Gauri will take the viewers through the space makeover journeys of some of the most popular Bollywood celebrities’ homes.
