Kullfi Kumar Bajewala fame music composer Sargam Jassu along with popular composer Nakash Aziz won the award for the best music director at ITA 2023 once again after 2019. The duo released over 200 music compositions in a period of two years for the popular TVC 'Kullfi Kumar Bajewala', all of which were major hits. They have worked together in several TVCs since then and currently, they bagged the award for the popular daily soap Anupama. Sargam Jassu took to his social media to share how grateful he is, for being associated with such a grand show and winning the award for the best music director.
Sargam Jassu was originally born in Rajasthan but shifted to Mumbai in the year 1995 to pursue his dreams in music. He started his career working as a trainee in Krishna Studios when Shah Rukh Khan's film Main Hoon Na was being shot. Eventually, he started working as a sound assistant in the year 2002. His rendezvous with Nakash Aziz happened in the year 2006 and both started working together since then. His primary work as a music composer was in a Television series - named Chandragupta Maurya that aired on NDTV Imagine.
Currently, the composer along with Aziz is making music for six popular Indian daily soaps that are on-air. The award-winning show Anupama of Starplus is one, other shows include Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Faltu, and Pandya Store. They are also the music composers for Sony TV's Katha Ankahee and Star Bharat's Albela which stars Shahir Sheikh. He also recreated the song Chap Tilak for the web series Dark White Seven and also did the background score for Badnam Gali which was released on Zee 5.
The music composer often recalls his father who was his inspiration in this musical journey, and thanks him for being the driving force in his journey!
